User Data Deletion

Learn how to request deletion of your ScanMyScale account and personal data.

Your right to deletion

You may request deletion of your account and personal information at any time. This includes your profile, weight history, goals, uploaded scale photos, and personal insights, subject to information we must retain by law.

How to request deletion

  1. Open the app and go to Settings.
  2. Select Delete My Account and Data.
  3. Confirm your request after verifying your identity.

You can also email privacy@scanmyscale.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request”. Include the email address registered to your account so we can verify the request.

Processing timeline: in-app requests are processed after verification. Email requests are normally processed within five business days, with final deletion completed within thirty days unless a legal retention requirement applies.

What may be retained

We may retain limited transaction, security, or legal records when required by law or necessary to prevent fraud and defend legal claims. Retained information is limited to that purpose and anonymized when possible.
